Pamela Mantis

Pamela Mantis is Vice President of Operations at the Watts Partners.  Pamela is directly responsible for managing publicity and press for J.C. Watts, Jr.  She is also tasked with developing strategic communications plans for a variety of corporate clients.  

Pamela has over 18 years of news experience from work in both radio and television covering Latin America, Capitol Hill, The White House, the Pentagon and the State Department.  During her career as a journalist, she has covered major international and national events such as the Republican and Democratic Conventions, Reagan/Gorbachov Summits, Latin American Summit: Guadalajara, Mexico, San Carlos de Bariloche, Argentina, and the Annual Human Rights Conference in Geneva, Switzerland. 

Prior to joining the Watts Partners, Pamela was Press Secretary for Outreach Communications at the Republican National Committee.  Her duties included developing and implementing a comprehensive communications strategy targeted to minority media outlets.  Her portfolio included African-American, Haitian, Greek, Eastern European and Asian/Pacific American media.   

Pamela also does advance work for both President George W. Bush and First Lady Laura Bush. 

A graduate of Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Public Communications, Pamela is fluent in Spanish and specializes in Latin American outreach.
